Whitney Sigall is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who recently started a private practice in Squirrel Hill. She received her bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Florida State University and her master’s in Social Work at the University of Pittsburgh. Upon graduating from Pitt, Whitney acquired additional training through the Gestalt Institute of Pittsburgh and became certified in multiple modalities to assist in the treatment of PTSD including EMDR, TF-CBT, and CPT. Whitney has been practicing psychotherapy for 7 years and has worked in a variety of settings. She has experience working in the foster care system, residential facilities, answering calls for crisis hotlines, providing therapy at a local rape crises center, and delivering in-home services to those who struggle with hoarding. Whitney is thrilled to be joining the Western Pennsylvania Community for Psychoanalytic Therapies and learning alongside this year’s cohort and faculty.
