Laure Swearingen is a 67-year-old woman who returned to school at 35 and has been practicing since 2002, first as an LPC and then as a psychologist. Interested in the puzzles of treating trauma, including the continuous traumatic stress experienced by refugees and residents of dangerous communities here. Lives with her husband of 38 years (!) and another old dog. Enjoys swimming and seeing grandchildren (5) and children (3). Vegetarian.
