Kevin R. Smith, Ph.D.

Now retired from practice, Dr. Smith has been a therapist in private practice, in community mental health, and in psychotherapy research studies. He currently supervises the psychotherapy training of psychiatry residents and doctoral students in clinical psychology. His publications focus on the intersection of philosophy and psychology, including two books on the distinct ethical aims of different schools of therapy, The Ethical Visions of Psychotherapy and Therapeutic Ethics in Context and in Dialogue.
