CE Programming Content: There is extensive scientific evidence that psychoanalytic treatments are clinically useful and effective when used to treat a wide spectrum of psychological forms of suffering. The content of the Western Pennsylvania Community for Psychoanalytic Therapy programs is relevant to psychological practice, education and science by focusing on psychoanalytically informed treatment methods, scholarly works in the social and neuro sciences relevant to psychodynamically-informed clinical practice, and research.
The accuracy and utility of the material presented has been reviewed by our Curriculum Group. While the content of the workshop or course is intended for the further education of professionals in the field, it is not comprehensive training and should not be considered such. Further reading, training and consultation may be required. No treatment should be undertaken outside the limitation of your skills and expertise.
CE Attendance Requirements: To receive credit, you must be present for the entire seminar. If you have to leave early, please notify us. Those arriving more than 15 minutes after the scheduled start time or leaving before the seminar is completed will not receive CE credits.
CE Survey, Documentation of Attendance, and Programming Feedback: To receive CE documentation of attendance all participants must sign in. Those in attendance will be sent a link following the seminar where you will complete an evaluation form and provided with CE documentation for your records. Deadline dates for completion of documentation are included in the link.
All WPCPT educational activities are followed by an evaluation that references the learning objectives that were created for the program. The learning objectives are measured on how well they were attained for each portion of our program. Evaluations also include questions designed to evaluate the faculty or presenters including questions that evaluate the utility of the knowledge attained to psychological practice, education or science.
